Mechanical Fitter required for my client based in Knowsley who are a electro-mechanical service provider, in the repair and maintenance industry for pumps, motors, alternators, fans and gearboxes.
Due to the companies on-going success, they are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their well-established and respected engineering organisation.
Mechanical Fitters from an automotive industry background, would be well suited to this position.
Mechanical Fitter Position Overview
- Use of all standard workshop machinery
- Accurate recording of information and observations on internal job cards
- Dismantling and re-assembling of rotating machinery and equipment
- Ensuring tools and equipment are correctly stored and maintained.
- Reporting to your Team Leader and working closely with the production team.
Mechanical Fitter Position Requirements
- Good understanding of the Electro-Mechanical Industry.
- Time served or have at least five years commercial industrial experience.
- Must have experience of rotating equipment, specifically pumps.
- Experience of dynamic balancing is desirable.
- Knowledge of testing rotating equipment, both electrically and mechanically is desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Based within a commutable distance of Knowsley.
Mechanical Fitter Position Remuneration
- Salary - 17.05phr - on a 37.5hour / 40hour working week.
- Monday to Friday full time position.
- Bonus scheme in place worth up to 10% of basic salary.
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Company pension scheme - 5% Employee, 3% Employer.
- Other company benefits.
