A highly successful manufacturing business has an opportunity for a Group Financial Controller to lead the finance function supporting their UK and European entities. You will be joining a highly motivated leadership team who all have pride in the organisation, and be someone who will enjoy improving the output from the finance function.

This role is a nice mix - hands on enough to give you visibility of the day to day but with opportunities to add value to the business decision making. Team effort is part of their DNA - everyone has a part to play and feels valued for their contribution.

Your remit will be diverse and will include:

  • Streamlining financial reporting and developing the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders to understand business drivers and provide financial insights to improve decision making
  • Evaluate capital projects, lead banking negotiations, investment of funds etc
  • Optimise cash flow to support business growth
  • Ensure regulatory compliance strategies across all entities

To be considered for this role you should be a qualified accountant, proven in a financial leadership role, ideally with experience of European trading entities. You will have good influencing skills - someone who will be a valued contributor to the finance team and equally someone who enjoys inspiring and developing a finance team.
