Job Title: Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: Ribble Valley Area
Position Type: Supply - Full/Part-time, Temporary
Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support our schools in the Rossendale area. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with students of various ages and abilities, contributing to their educational and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparations.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
- Help with administrative tasks, as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
- Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for working with children and young people.
- A clear DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
