The F-35 Lightning II program has an opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join the Airframe Design team responsible for delivery and support of the developed elements of the F-35 Aft Fuselage.
As an Electrical Design Engineer you will be part of a team producing the physical product definition to satisfy a set of multidisciplinary system functional requirements, taking account of safety, cost, manufacturing, in-service support and other considerations. Your engineering capabilities will have been developed across a range of design skills and product lifecycle stages, working predominately in a model-based engineering environment centred on CAD (Catia V5).
- Design definition of wiring / harness assemblies for manufacture
- Electrical layouts, wiring / harness routing, equipment integration
- Ability to interpret FTI Wiring Schematic Drawings (Series 1) and producing Series 2's drawings
