Project Worker - Supported Accommodation Services

Location: Preston, Lancashire

About Us: Brook Street Social Care is currently recruiting for Project Workers to join our client, providing supported accommodation services to young people aged 16-24 across various sites in Lancashire. Their services focus on equipping young individuals with the necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence for independent living. Residents come from diverse backgrounds and often include those in care, transitioning from care, or who have experienced homelessness. Their dedicated team ensures that our services are staffed 24 hours a day, providing round-the-clock support and guidance.

Services: Situated Preston City Centre, this service offers accommodation and support for up to 11 young people. Residents have individual bedrooms and share communal kitchen and living room facilities.

Shifts: Various in between hours of 8am and 10pm

Specific Responsibilities: As a Project Worker, you will play a critical role within our services, supporting young people during day time hours. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing essential support and guidance to young residents.
  • Participating in training programs covering areas such as Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Safeguarding, and Health & Safety.
  • Attending monthly supervision meetings and annual Performance & Development Reviews.
  • Engaging with young residents and encouraging their participation in various activities within the service.
