I am partnering with a fantastic business with a Head Office based in Preston in their search for a HR Manager. This is a truly generalist HR role where you will support a fast-growing business embed HR into their organisation.

Below is an overview of the responsibilities you will have:

  • Working with the Leadership teams to understand their business plans, and put together a people plan
  • Coaching Managers on all areas of HR policy and practice
  • Implementing a training and development programme for the organisation which promotes the ongoing development of knowledge and skills
  • Designing an employee engagement programme which increases commitment and engagement levels
  • Implementing an enhanced recruitment and selection process to recruit highly skilled and capable people who drive the business forwards
  • Developing HR Policies and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality people management practices throughout the organisation

This is a unique opportunity where you will be able to put your own stamp on the role and bring innovative thoughts to the table. Strong communication skills are essential in order to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The ability to think strategically as well as work operationally is important.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional who is driven and passionate about what they do. You don't have to be the finished article to succeed in this role as my client will support your development.

Please note with this role a significant part of the week will be spent at the Preston office with the remainder of the time being spent travelling to site, or working from home.
