Sales Order Processor/Administrator | Preston | Part Time | Preferred Hours - Monday to Thursday 9:30am – 2:30pm, Friday 9am – 1pm | Salary is dependent on experience 

In this role, you will work within our sales team and will focus on processing a variety of orders for numerous clients and you will be supporting both the team and the customers.

As well as supporting new customers with their order needs, you will strive to maintain good relationships with existing clients. This role is fundamental to the success of the business.

The sales side of the business is target driven and therefore the associated support work can sometimes be demanding and pressurised. We always work together to support and help each other to achieve our targets, therefore a team player is essential.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Previous experience with order processing and data inputting (preferred but not essential)
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work well with other team members
  • You will have a positive attitude and show enthusiasm
  • A strong willingness and understanding of the need to learn product information
  • Fully and ongoing training will be provided
  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Your role as an Order Processing Administrator will include

  • Building good working relationships with both customers and staff alike
  • Complete order management, focusing on order processing, and inputting
  • Understanding the needs and expectations of the customers and keeping up to date with their orders
  • Purchasing back to back supplier orders, using quotations provided by the sales team where possible
  • Managing the suppliers in line with our purchasing terms
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Inputting all completed information into the Business Systems
  • Attending monthly & quarterly team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues across the business
  • Clear, concise, and professional customer communication, both written and oral
  • Supporting the production team on any customer-related tasks
  • Completing all general administration duties that the business may require, where possible, across all departments, with the primary focus on supporting the customer
