About the Role:As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of additional needs, providing essential one-to-one support in various subjects and activities. Your dedication and commitment will help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with additional needs
  • Assist in implementing personalised learning plans and strategies
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and completing tasks
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure the student's individual needs are met
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and feedback

Requirements:

  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience
  • Passion for working with students with diverse needs
  • Ability to engage and motivate students in their learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to cover lessons when needed (preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
