Please note that a full UK driving license is required for this role.Salary & Benefits:

Client and Role:
  • Our client has a brand new children’s residential home with residents aged 8-18 who have behavioural and emotional issues.
  • The aim of the home is to help the residents develop and maintain the necessary social and living skills to enjoy a fulfilling life whilst ensuring their physical and emotional care needs are also met.
  • The role includes planning and participating in leisure and social activities, supporting personal care and school routines, preparation of meals, setting boundaries and completing daily records and relevant documentation.
  • Working closely with social workers, healthcare professionals and education teams.
  • The shift pattern is 2 days on, including sleep-ins, and 4 days of. For example: starting at the home at 10 am on a Monday morning and finishing at 10 am on Wednesday morning, including 2 sleep-ins; you will then have 4 days off.
Successful Applicant:
  • Must have at least 6 months of previous experience in healthcare.
  • Full UK driving license is required, the role will involve using the company car during shift.
  • Ideally, previous experience in a residential care setting.
  • Hold, be working towards, or willing to complete an NVQ Level 4 in Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or hold another relevant NVQ.
