Position: Day-to-Day Cover Supervisor

Location: Leyland and Preston

Settings: SEND and Alternative Provision

Class Sizes: Small (Approx. 8-10 pupils)

Subjects: Flexible coverage across a range of subjects

Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Daily Rate of Pay: £90 - £110

Role Overview:

As a Day-to-Day Cover Supervisor, you will have the exciting opportunity to work across diverse settings, including Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) and Alternative Provision. The role involves providing support in small class sizes, approximately 8-10 pupils, catering to students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage students in a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Cover a variety of subjects, adapting to the unique needs of each class
  • Foster a supportive atmosphere to encourage student development and well-being

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students in educational settings
  • Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of subjects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage small class sizes effectively
