We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to join our educational team, focusing on 1-to-1 teaching with children who are in pupil referral units or have been excluded from mainstream education. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher with experience in special educational needs (SEN), who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students facing educational challenges.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct 1-to-1 teaching sessions with children referred or excluded from mainstream education.
  • Develop tailored educational plans to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of students.
  • Engage with parents, guardians, and other educators to ensure a cohesive approach to the student's education.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with SEN students or in pupil referral units.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to create and adapt educational content to meet the needs of students with varying educational backgrounds.
  • Patience, resilience, and dedication to student development.
