We are seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a vibrant primary school in Pudsey. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a desire to contribute to a supportive and dynamic educational environment.
Day to day of the role:- Assist in the delivery of creative and engaging educational activities for early years pupils.
- Support the classroom teacher in planning and preparation of lessons and materials.
- Help to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop.
- Observe and record children’s progress, sharing information with teachers and parents.
- Contribute to the management of pupil behaviour, ensuring a calm and orderly classroom.
- Participate in school events and activities, providing support where needed.
- Engage in continuous professional development and staff training sessions.
- A Level 3 qualification relevant to early years education.
- Experience working within an early years environment.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
