Role Description:

Bridge Recruitment are currently networking for an Operations Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a company providing sustainable cleaning services to its customers for the past 40 years. Their longstanding client relationships are valuable and they ensure expectations are met and exceeded every time. They are now looking for an Operations Manager to join them, to develop strong relationships with the Cleaning Team where there are currently one to two cleaners at each site. The ideal Operations Manager will be client orientated, and will be able to cover shifts when required, and will be a hands-on and proactive individual. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial type, with the drive and focus to earn shares in the business in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Create strong relationships with the Cleaning Team and support where necessary

  • Manage and motivate staff to complete tasks to meet client expectations

  • Ensure client expectations are understood and aim to meet or exceed these

  • Ensure staff are equipped and properly trained to complete tasks

  • If necessary, provide training to staff to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard

  • Ensure equipment is safe to use and in good working condition

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role or environment

  • Proactive

  • Hands-on

  • Able to build relationships, creating new business opportunities and expanding on business development skills

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Able to motivate a Team

  • Excellent time management and organisation skills

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and industry standards

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Problem-solving and decision making abilities
