Duties:

  • Conducting testing, fault finding, and equipment repair.
  • Generating comprehensive test reports and documentation in accordance with customer requirements and Quality Management System standards.
  • Performing upgrades and modifications to assemblies and finished products.
  • Interpreting and implementing changes to assemblies and finished products as per documentation.
  • Identifying product quality and performance issues and raising appropriate non-conformances.
  • Collaborating with Design Engineering, Test Equipment Design, and Sales to meet customer requirements and ensure finished product quality and performance.
  • Supporting the Company's ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including seeking new 'green' opportunities and suggesting business improvements.
  • Adhering to the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and Health and Safety management systems.

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to conduct product testing accurately following test procedures and meeting standard times.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, digital power supplies, and multi meters.
  • Experience in soldering and rework methods to IPC standards.
  • Previous experience in a lean manufacturing facility and competency in MS Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in repair and diagnostic fault-finding to component level; HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering desirable.
  • Knowledge of high voltage test methods is a distinct advantage.
