Head of HR

Are you ready to take on the challenge of leading the HR function for a global market leader? Our client is seeking a Head of HR to join their team.

As the Head of HR, you will be a key partner in guiding and supporting the European management team, providing them with the tools and knowledge to deliver high-level generalist and employee relations support. Your responsibilities will include implementing HR processes and people management strategies, supporting strategic projects and change management and ensuring compliance with local legislation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a business partner to the European management team and serving as the main point of contact for employees and managers within the business unit.
  • Influencing and implementing the global HR strategy across Europe.
  • Providing line management for the UK HR team, offering direction and support for their development.
  • Actively supporting the delivery of HR processes, projects and initiatives.
  • Taking the lead on performance improvement initiatives and driving positive change in people management.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • A graduate degree and/or CIPD qualification.
  • Experience working across multiple countries within Europe.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Solid understanding of employment law.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret data accurately.
