Area Sales Manager / Full time / permanent / South region / 36,000

My client, a leading interior brand, are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their south region. Within this role you will drive success and sales development within your assigned region and focus on sales strengths and weaknesses. As an Area Sales Manager you should also liaise with all relevant departments to ensure customer satisfaction and account development with different customers.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Monitor performance and sales strategy
  • Develop sales strategies across the region to ensure ongoing achievement of sales targets
  • Work with senior management to agree sales strategy and continue to monitor performance
  • Develop a close and strong working relationship with customers and suppliers
  • Keep up to date with systems, orders and customer data
  • Work closely with any areas in the region that are struggling and focus on building customers in that geographical location
  • Provide high levels of quality service and build relationships throughout the region
  • Ensure customer displays and showrooms are maintained and developed in line with latest product launches and new stock
  • Maintain sample stock levels and condition
  • Promotion of new product lines
  • Have a strong presence at trade shows, exhibitions and events
Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum of two years experience in a similar role for a brand within interiors
  • Have a demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales plans and strategy
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills
  • Strong skills within negotiation and objection handling
  • Ability to build positive and long lasting relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Proactive nature with the ability to remain motivated
