- Assistant Accountant - Hybrid working
A fantastic new Assistant Accountant role has arisen for a growing business based in central Reading. We are seeking an AAT student looking to progress and develop their accounting skills within a fast-paced organisation. Key duties of the Assistant Accountant will include: - Processing accounts payable and receivable invoices.
- Reconciling customer and supplier accounts.
- Performing daily bank reconciliations.
- Contacting customers to ensure timely payments for invoices.
- Posting journals.
- Accruals & prepayments.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assisting with audit queries.
Skills and experience required include:Â - Actively studying AAT qualifications.
- Sound foundation of accounting knowledge such as debits & credits.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a good team player.
- Prior experience of working within an accounting role.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
