Biokinetics - Research Scientist

Our client, a leading organisation in the field of Research & Development, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Biokinetics - Research Scientist to join their team on a full-time, 12-month initial contract basis.

Role Purpose & Accountability:

As a Biokinetics - Research Scientist, you will utilise your expertise to provide scientific and technical support in designing and conducting studies to evaluate the bioavailability of novel chemicals. Your key responsibilities will include setting and prioritising operational goals, interpreting and analysing data, establishing internal networks, and advancing existing methodologies.

Specifically, you will:

  • Proactively provide scientific and technical support for research studies.
  • Set and prioritise operational goals in collaboration with Science Leaders (SLs).
  • Analyse and interpret data, presenting conclusions through comprehensive reports and presentations.
  • Establish internal networks and collaborate across disciplines to achieve shared objectives.
  • Improve operational efficiency through the review and advancement of protocols.
  • Foster an innovative mindset by transferring knowledge and building new capabilities.
  • Implement Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) actions to ensure compliance.

What we're looking for:

  • MSc (preferred) with experience related to Entomology, Biochemistry, ADME/Invertebrate Toxicology.
  • Professional experience in Pharmacology, Analytical Chemistry, or Entomology is preferred.
  • Familiarity with study of ADME of active ingredients is ideal.
  • Effective scientific writing, verbal communication, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in handling large datasets, including data storage, reporting analysis, and visualisation tools.
