Class 2 Driver
Vanta Staffing Reading is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our client based in the Reading area. This will involve multi-drop work, a perfect role for drivers who want a permanent position with a prestigious company.
Requirements of an HGV Class 2 Driver:
- Minimum 12 months HGV driving (Cat C) recent experience.
- Be able to complete 6-8 drops + 4-5 collections (pallet deliveries)
- Have a valid CPC and digi tacho
- No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)
Details:
- Salary: £16ph – Days / £18.70ph – Overtime / £33,500 once permanent
- Working hours: Monday to Friday (early starts)
- Location: Reading
- Duration: Temp to Perm
Role of an HGV Class 2 Driver:
- Complete 6-8 drops + 4-5 collections (pallet deliveries)
- Complete vehicle checks
- Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
