Class 2 Driver

Vanta Staffing Reading is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our client based in the Reading area. This will involve multi-drop work, a perfect role for drivers who want a permanent position with a prestigious company.

Requirements of an HGV Class 2 Driver:

Minimum 12 months HGV driving (Cat C) recent experience.
Be able to complete 6-8 drops + 4-5 collections (pallet deliveries)
Have a valid CPC and digi tacho
No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)

Details:

Salary: £16ph – Days / £18.70ph – Overtime / £33,500 once permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday (early starts)
Location: Reading
Duration: Temp to Perm

Role of an HGV Class 2 Driver:

Complete 6-8 drops + 4-5 collections (pallet deliveries)
Complete vehicle checks
Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
