Site Manager (Nuclear) – Reading - Inside IR35 – SC Cleared
VIQU has partnered with a leading consultancy who deliver critical projects in energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing, with this role being part of the nuclear team.
Our client is recruiting for a Site Manager to oversee the delivery of Electrical Control Systems on a nuclear site.
The successful candidate must be able to support the Engineers with installation, test, and commissioning activities, so a background in Electrical Engineering is paramount.
This role is based onsite in Reading.
Key skills & responsibilities for the Site Manager:
- Strong experience as a Site Manager within nuclear sector
- Background in electrical engineering & ability to support electrical installation / test / commissioning activities
- Hold a valid Safety Passport
- Awareness of NEC3/4 contracts
- Nominated point of contact for Health & Safety, First Aid. Relevant certifications required.
- CDM Training relevant to site
- Regular reporting & client liaison
- Good people management skills – staff & subcontractors
- SC Clearance

- Duration: 6 months’ initial contract with view to extend
- Rate: £50 - £55 per hour
- IR35 status: Inside IR35
