ROLE- Project Manager LOCATION- ReadingTERM- PermanentSALARY- £35,000-£40,000, dependent on experience My client designs, manufactures and installs specialist products. They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team in the Reading area on a permanent basis.The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

Have a solid background in Mechanical Engineering, having worked in Manufacturing environments
Knowledge of design processes and installation
Able to manage an organise multiple projects, taking things from order to installation
Strong project management skills
Excellent organisational skills
Professional, with the ability to develop working relationships

Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written
Proficient using MS Office

Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team

Responsibilities include:

Manging orders and design processes, organising delivery dates, liaising between the customer and the factory
Writing method statements and installation plans
Working directly with customers and developing relationships
Producing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plans
Planning and managing resources, both sub contract and direct labour
Managing & delivering project plans
Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues
Owning the profit and loss & cash flow
Occasional travel for site visits as required
