My client is looking for an Experienced Senior PM/ Contracts manager required to join a growing and highly successful commercial contractor with a growing turnover of over 25 Million due to double in size in the next 2 years

Established and located in the Berkshire they are due to expand both in the South and north of the uk and covering contracts nationwide they work on projects in the commercial, retail, industrial, civil engineering, rail, High tech ,R&D and leisure sectors.


initially you will be managing the delivery of 2-3 one of the new awards , which are schools and , new build industrial / commercial buildings with average 35- 60 week programmes on site in the next few weeks.

You will then go on to oversee a number of live schemes of 2 and 7 million in value and work with the team on pre construction on a number of negated projects in the industrial and food production sectors across the Uk


These are key clients for this contractor and The projects will be a combination of new build and and Refurbishment projects all to be completed within program and on budget.

To be applicable for this role you must be able to:

* Manage the Pre-construction early-stage site set up
* Produce and issue risk log
* Identify all H&S issues
* Produce detailed Method Statements
* Support pre-contract team
* Participate and actively contribute to the Pre-Start handover
* Review options for construction and challenge solutions
* Provide cost effective solutions for the construction of the works
* Identify and predict resource issues and risks, and analyse options for profitability.
* Take tough decisions to overcome issues
* Be involved along with the QS and Site Management in the selection process for subcontractors, specialist and suppliers
* Attending progress meetings as appropriate and ensure that relevant contractors/progress reports against the programme are issued in accordance with the contract
* Provide high level progress reports to the Directors- weekly or as required
* Deal with all issues including complex issues to the customer and their team
* As part of the project team ensure that works are progressed safely, to the quality, programme, efficiently and cost effectively
* Monitor all regulatory requirements regarding Planning and Building Regulations
* Ensure that all site administration procedures are followed and time sheets are signed-off when not verified by a Site Manager
* Work closely with the Surveyor to ensure all cost related items are reported back and assist in the preparation of the final account
* Assist Surveyor with final account

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

You will have experience of working within the Construction industry for main contractors, specifically on D&B new build and refurbishment projects, more specifically within the industrial , education or Leisure and Commercial sectors.

We are also interested in hearing from upwardly mobile Senior Project Managers who are ready to make the jump to this level or former Construction Directors who would relish the opportunity to work on projects again and deliver something the way you believe a job should delivered -on time to budget and impressing the client

To be considered Candidates must:
* hold or be working toward a construction / design related professional qualification - HNC/HND/Degree
* be a member of a Professional Body
* hold a relevant CSCS card
* Have Tier 1 experience on similar project from tender to handover in the uk previously
* Be able to lead the project and deliver client satisfaction
