A supportive and forward-thinking specialist school in Reading is looking for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting children and young people with behavioural, emotional, and social needs.
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who may present with SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD, trauma, and challenging behaviour, providing consistent support both in and out of the classroom. The role involves 1:1 and small group work, helping pupils regulate emotions, develop positive behaviour strategies, and engage with learning.

- Role: Behaviour Teaching Assistant
- Location: Reading
- Salary: 89-100 per day
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Start Date: ASAP
- Ideal for: Psychology, Criminology, Education graduates or anyone passionate about behaviour support and mental health
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will help create a structured and nurturing environment, support behaviour management plans, and work closely with SEN staff and therapists.
This role is an excellent stepping stone for aspiring Youth Workers, Teachers, Psychologists, or Social Workers, offering hands-on experience in a specialist setting.
