Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality electrical designs across a diverse project portfolio
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and generating repeat business
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's strategic objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborating with other disciplines and offices
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring profitable project delivery
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the electrical engineering team
Requirements:
- Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body (e.g., CIBSE, IET)
- Proven track record of leading and managing electrical engineering teams in a consultancy environment
- Extensive experience in electrical building services design across a range of sectors
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of current industry standards and regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships at a senior level
- Commercial acumen and understanding of financial management principles
