Clarity are currently supporting our client - an established specialist engineering business who manufacture and supply cross sector industries. We are recruiting for a Pressure Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

Working within the Manufacturing and Calibration Department. We are seeking a self motivated candidate who can work well on their own but is also a team player.

About the role:

  • Assembly and calibration of Pressure Transducers.
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical assembly both by hand and using tools (Analogue/Digital Output).
  • Assessment, Repair and Recalibration of Transducers.
  • Preparing Cable/wires and fitting electrical connectors.
  • Calibration by using Dead weights and Machines.
  • Configuration and calibration of Analogue and Digital electronics, using power supplies and digital volt meters (DVM’S).

About You - Experience / Qualifications

Essential:

  • Soldering and wiring experience (IPC-610). Electrical and Mechanical assembly experience.
  • Problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
  • Fast learner and able to communicate well.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Able to demonstrate working with Standard Operation Procedures.
  • Basic Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in the Pressure Transducer manufacturing and/or other high precision industries.
  • Repairs and inspection of faulty goods.

These vacancy's are advertised as Full time and permanent. Working hours are 9am -5pm Monday to Friday.
