Job Title: Senior Engineering Technician (Electrically or Mechanically Biased)
Location: Reading, UK
Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum (including callout rota, which can increase earnings to nearly £50,000 annually)
Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible shifts between 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (7.5 hours per day)

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting electrical or mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment and systems within the commercial site.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
- Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to uphold operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Participating in the callout rota to provide emergency support outside regular working hours.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Engineering Technician, with expertise in either electrical or mechanical systems.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND) in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and participate in the callout rota as required.
