WHO ARE WE?

We are hiring a Principal Nuclear Safety Engineer with SC Clearance to join our diverse team and work on a wide range of high profile Public Sector projects across UK Government.

THE NUCLEAR SAFETY ENGINEER SHOULD HAVE…

  • Strong engineering judgment and experience in fundamental engineering skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Background in safety case production and hazard analysis, particularly in the nuclear and defence industry.
  • Proficient in producing and reviewing/correcting high-quality technical reports.
  • Experienced in leading technical teams and mentoring junior staff.
  • Motivated to achieve delivery/cost targets without compromising quality.
  • Awareness of technical limitations and a willingness to help and support for successful project delivery.

OTHER RESPONIBILITIES INCLUDE…

  • Production of Nuclear Technical Reports
  • Fault identification studies (HAZOP, FMEA)
  • Hazard and safety assessments
  • Develop and review Safety management arrangements
  • Mentor junior members of the team in a technical capacity
  • Liaise with operators, designers and clients to build positive relationships
