- Permanent opportunity for a Principal Nuclear Safety Engineer
- Must hold active SC Security Clearance

WHO ARE WE?
We are hiring a Principal Nuclear Safety Engineer with SC Clearance to join our diverse team and work on a wide range of high profile Public Sector projects across UK Government.
THE NUCLEAR SAFETY ENGINEER SHOULD HAVE…
- Strong engineering judgment and experience in fundamental engineering skills.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Background in safety case production and hazard analysis, particularly in the nuclear and defence industry.
- Proficient in producing and reviewing/correcting high-quality technical reports.
- Experienced in leading technical teams and mentoring junior staff.
- Motivated to achieve delivery/cost targets without compromising quality.
- Awareness of technical limitations and a willingness to help and support for successful project delivery.
OTHER RESPONIBILITIES INCLUDE…
- Production of Nuclear Technical Reports
- Fault identification studies (HAZOP, FMEA)
- Hazard and safety assessments
- Develop and review Safety management arrangements
- Mentor junior members of the team in a technical capacity
- Liaise with operators, designers and clients to build positive relationships
