Our client is a acquisitive FMCG/ retail business who seek to hire a Head of Treasury. The role will report into the Group Finance Director and will manage a team of 6. The role will have full ownership of the Treasury function and suit somebody looking for a broad role. The Head of Treasury will be responsible for cash reporting, cash forecasting, bank account management and managing the strategic financing arrangements of all companies. Our client has 3000+ sites around the UK and Europe and circa £1.5Bn turnover currently with plans to grow organically and through acquisitions to £2Bn over the coming years.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cashflow forecasting for external and internal purposes
- Managing relationship and administering submissions to Banking Facilities Agent and Ratings Agencies
- Accountable for maintaining appropriate working capital policy and hedging policy ensuring that liquidity, debt, interest and FX exposures are effectively managed.
- Responsible for Group Insurance through a broker service and manage the claim activities across various departments
- Responsible for all payment channels across all legal entities including supplier relationships for Merchant Services, Cash Collections and eCommerce, this also includes PCI governance
- Responsible for the allocation of a £3m guarantee facility ensuring business needs are met on a timely basis.
- Oversight of all bank accounts across the group ensuring any local country access is appropriate and suitable controls in place
- Manage all relationships with day-to-day banking partners
- Work with preferred banking partners in reviewing account structures, electronic payment platforms and leading any systems implementations
- Responsible for treasury integration on new acquisitions
- Improve current treasury processes and drive treasury transformation projects including leading the Treasury Management System (Kyriba) implementation project and subsequent projects of configuring Kyriba to Blackline and accounting systems
- Initiate other treasury solutions that can be beneficial to the Group.
A salary of £90,000-£100,000 is on offer plus bonus and benefits.
