Inspector

The role involves inspecting products and processes through the business's inspection system or specifically via First Article Inspection.

In addition, the Inspector will assist the business, especially Engineering disciplines, in problem-solving activities, engineering investigations, and determining corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control and inspection tasks, including general inspection of parts both manufactured offsite and onsite requiring outside processing and/or Supplier First Article Inspection.
• Support engineering investigations.
• Provide training to employees on interpretation of engineering drawings, work instructions, inspection techniques, and proper application of gauging.
• Must have broad training and knowledge of parts; familiarity with interfaces is advantageous.
• Encourage an environment of continuous improvement to attain elevated quality standards.
