AI Technical Product Manager

Our client is creating a product is a novel diagnostic platform, combining a retinal biomarker with an AI algorithm to identify cellular level disease activity for the first time in humans. As a leader in drug discovery and development, they are committed to driving growth and success through cutting-edge solutions and exceptional service. I am seeking a talented and experienced Senior AI Product Manager to join our dynamic team and help us continue our journey of excellence.

Role Overview:

As the Senior AI Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our drug discovery products. You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, managing technical operations, and ensuring the successful development and deployment of our key offerings. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends and a passion for driving product excellence in the drug discovery domain.

Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic leadership for all technical operations within the company.
    • Develop and execute technical plans and strategies in alignment with the company's drug discovery goals.
    • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing technical team specialising in drug discovery.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
    • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of technical infrastructure supporting drug discovery efforts.
    • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to optimise technical solutions for drug discovery processes.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime in drug discovery work flows.
    • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for technical operations in drug discovery.
    • Make data-driven decisions to allocate resources for maximum impact on drug discovery projects.
    • Establish and maintain quality standards and procedures for technical operations in drug discovery.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to technical quality and performance in drug discovery projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a strong track record of leading technical projects and teams in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Deep understanding of drug discovery processes, technical infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a technical team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
