A highly rewarding role awaits a motivated and creative Data Scientist seeking an excellent career progression opportunity. You will be joining a leading global biopharmaceutical company that specialises in the development of novel therapeutics for autoimmune and neurological diseases!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced data science solutions, using AI and machine leaning, with internal and external data to support drug discovery
  • Working collaboratively with experimental and computational scientists
  • Utilise strong background in biologics to establish analytical workflow and optimise AI methodologies
  • Process, analyse and interpret poly-omic data from across the company portfolio

Experience:

  • PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Computational Biology or a related field
  • Proficiency in a range of programming languages such as Python or R
  • Strong understanding of starting principles in statistics, data mining and visualisation of biological data (omics, NGS, and assay data)
  • Expertise in integrative analysis of multiple omic data types including advanced statistical, machine learning and deep learning methods (large language models would be highly advantageous)
  • Biological domain knowledge, with a focus on antibodies is highly desirable
