A well-regarded, full-service law firm with an excellent reputation across the Thames Valley and London is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive (2+ years PQE) to join its friendly and collaborative Divorce & Family Law team in Reading.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated family lawyer to handle high-quality private family law work in a supportive team environment, with a clear path to career advancement and partnership.
The Role:
You will:
- Manage your own private law family caseload from start to finish
- Advise clients on divorce, separation, Children Act matters, financial settlements and cohabitation issues
- Handle a mix of complex and high-value cases with autonomy
- Work closely with colleagues across the team to deliver excellent client outcomes
- Be actively involved in business development and contributing to the growth of the department
? What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX) with 2+ years PQE
- Experience across divorce, financial remedy and private children matters
- Confident managing your own caseload independently
- Strong technical skills, excellent client care and attention to detail
- A collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting others
- Commercial awareness and a can-do attitude
- A desire to keep up with legal developments and best practices in family law
