Mainstay Recruitment are currently working with a well established company who are looking to recruit for a Mechanical engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of aspects such as HVAC, Plumbing, Pumps, AHU and Water systems.

Duties:

  • As a mechanical engineer you will be working predominantly across a single site performing Planned and reactive maintenance
  • As a Mechanical engineer you will cover maintenance tasks across aspects such as HVAC, Plumbing, Pumps, AHU and Water systems
  • You will look after water hygiene, plant inspections and will help with other maintenance tasks such as fabric maintenance
  • Carry out tasks within typical plantroom environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders. All access and PPE will be provided
  • As a Mechanical engineer you will support coordinating subcontractors planned and reactive maintenance
  • You will ensure all work complete is in line with health and safety and compliant
  • Happy to travel to other sites where required
  • happy to be part of an On call rota 
Candidate:

  • The relevant candidate will have relevant qualifications e.g. City & Guilds - Building Services Engineering or Plumbing Installation/Maintenance or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years practical experience within the building services engineering industry
  • Previous experience working within a team
  • Knowledge and use of computer software – Microsoft Office, Building Management System
  • Driving license required
