- Working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks on various plant equipment, including but not limited to:
- HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems
- Boilers and heating systems
- Chillers and refrigeration units
- Fire alarm and life safety systems
- Plumbing and drainage systems
- Fire Alarm TestsÂ
- Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
- Water pressurization units
- Chlorifiers – annual inspection, descaling
- Steam Plant
- Condensers, Condenser Returns
- Cooling towers
- Softeners
- Humidifiers
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Responding promptly to reactive maintenance requests and resolving issues efficiently.
- Performing checks and inspections on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Identifying and reporting any faults or defects to the engineering team.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Fully electrically mechanically qualified (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) in either mechanical engineering, plumbing or Air Conditioning.
- Experienced working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at a commercial buildingÂ
- Proven experience in maintaining and servicing plant equipment within a commercial environment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels..
