Company Overview

You will be joining a well-known and rapidly growing UK Housewares company as their Office Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a close-knit, welcoming and high-performing team, you will be reporting into the UK General Manager who will be there to support your transition into the business as well as your continued learning and development. You will have the backing of the company's very well-established overseas Head Office and there will be plenty of future progression opportunities here. Based in their Ascot office at least 3 days a week, you will have the opportunity to work from home for the remaining 2 days. You will need to be based locally in case you are required to attend the office at short notice.

Role Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing full office management and sales support to the sales team and wider business. You will manage the customer order database, have ownership of the forecasting file, oversee stock management, oversee/manage return shipments/shortages, track orders/delivery status and be responsible for the end to end order processing. You will oversee and manage all export and import shipping/delivery processes, coordinate with various internal/external departments to ensure timely deliveries, prepare/manage all necessary shipping documentation, manage relationships with logistics service providers and freight forwarders, analyse/verify supplier invoices, work with the marketing team to manage UK requirements, manage customer communication in a timely/efficient manner and manage the UK team holiday tracker/absences. This role will be split into: Sales Support, Shipping, Accounts, Marketing, Customer Services, Office Management and HR.

Role Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have previous office management experience and be used to working in a fast-paced sales administration environment. You will have experience in international shipping and/or logistics, have precise attention to detail, a commercial mindset and excellent communication skills. You will be a team player with a proactive, can-do attitude, possess the ability to prioritise your own workload, be able to work independently without instruction and have brilliant time management skills. You will demonstrate a professional manner and be confident using Microsoft packages such as Excel and Outlook.

You will receive an annual salary of up to £40,000 + Benefits and this will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
