KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist in the delivery of testing of technology solutions with a focus on quality across your workstream
- Establish and maintain highly effective relationships with delivery teams, stakeholders, and business teams
- Act as a test subject matter expert, sharing knowledge with other members of the team
- Collaborate with Delivery Leads to help define delivery plans
- Defining test data and environment requirements
- Produce detailed estimates for testing activities
- Producing and executing tests based on requirements and user stories
- Monitoring performance of testing activity
- Coordinate and report on test activities
- Follow the defect lifecycle process including defect triage
- Assist the Delivery Manager in the identification of initiatives to deliver innovative improvements to the test process
- Be able to represent Testing in daily SCRUM and progress meetings
- Be able to use and contribute to Azure DevOps.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Display a solid understanding of testing best practice and the development lifecycle with good experience of applying this knowledge
- Ability to adapt testing processes to optimise delivery of outcomes
- Experience of applying risk-based testing techniques
- Be competent in the use of multiple test management tools
- Ability to size estimates for testing requirements.
- Shows a high level of planning aptitude
- Articulate with outstanding written, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Customer focused approach
- Have a flexible approach with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines and/or changing priorities
- Demonstrate the ability to review and critique current processes and recommend innovative solutions to problems
Reading or Havant based. Travel 20% (max) with flexible working. It is likely that this role will only require home working.
