Reed Business Support are actively seeking an HR Administrator on behalf of our client based in Redcar. This position will support the HR team with various everyday duties and tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to shape the role to their strengths and interests, as it encompasses a broad spectrum of HR responsibilities, including Learning and Development (L&D), Rewards and Recognition (R&R), and more. The ideal candidate will be naturally curious and ambitious and demonstrate an excellent attention to detail.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Perform administrative tasks to ensure all employee files on the server are current and accurate.
  • Update BreatheHR (HRIS) with employee data consistently.
  • Revise and update HR templates as needed.
  • Manage onboarding processes, including preparing onboarding templates and welcoming new employees.
  • Send welcome emails to new employees and schedule inductions at the Visitor’s Centre.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of learning and development plans for employees.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A proactive approach to work with the ability to manage a varied workload.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with HR Information Systems, such as BreatheHR, is advantageous.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • A natural curiosity and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
