A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pricing Manager to join a global manufacturing business with a great reputation at their office based in Redditch.

This role will be supporting the Business Unit Manager in building and managing an EMEA Aftermarket pricing model to aid in pricing throughout a products life cycle and adapts to ever changing market demands.

This role is based at the office in Redditch and is a hybrid working role (50% in the office, 50% work from home)

Salary = £52-58,000 per annum

Benefits = Hybrid working, 25 days holiday + statutory holidays, pension, healthcare, etc.

Hours = Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

Duties include:

• Responsible for the pricing strategy for the European Aftermarket business with the aim to maximize profitability while sustaining market share growth

• Develop market expertise on the products, distribution channels and the client groups to be able to deploy an adequate strategy taking into consideration the complexities of the business

• Coordinate semi-annual pricing efforts and other pricing changes (special programs, market revisions, etc.) and effectively communicate those pricing updates on a timely basis to internal and external customers

• Develop and utilize tools to track pricing performance and the impact of specific changes in price on margins and profitability levels

• Record and analyse the results of Quotes and Pricing Programs to ensure consistency with overall pricing and marketing strategies

• Determine risks to overall profitability and margin through price leakage analysis and develop strategies to maximize profitability and minimize loss

• Analyse costs and competitive pricing to develop fair market prices

• Respond to tender/bid requests from customers for incremental business at profitable margins and maintain margins and profitability for the life of the bid

• Define Pricing Objectives, Procedures and Controls.

• Analyse market dynamics in EMEA to develop a detailed competitive Pricing Model

• Benchmark market and run pricing survey to position the product range accordingly to competition and adjust pricing level accordingly to parts competitiveness

• Develop and maintain an effective interface between the Pricing Department, Business Line Management, Purchasing Department, Finance and Sales

• Improve Metrics on Pricing Errors ratios

• Resolve efficiently and satisfactorily pricing issues which balance the need to meet customer expectations and minimize profit losses to the business

• Pricing tool maintenance, updates, improvements to ensure efficient pricing process and automatize tasks

• Pricing training to sales teams and customer service

• Supporting the Finance Analyst team with various finance tasks like cost control / analysis

The ideal candidate for this role:

• Experience in pricing is essentially, ideally within manufacturing

• Ability to build simple processes in a complex environment to ensure consistency

• Exposure to the European market is desirable

• Ability to achieve tight deadlines and work under pressure

• Analytical data skills especially Excel

• Commercial acumen

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
