- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the engineering or industrial sector.
- A keen interest in technology and engineering would be considered valuable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written.
- Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding targets and driving business growth.
Job description
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities to expand market reach.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Propose, develop, and execute sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to support promotional activities and campaigns.
- Support and promote Agents and related activities to enhance sales channels.
- Attend industry exhibitions, conferences, and customer facilities as needed.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, primarily through web meetings.
- Manage project and conference follow-ups to ensure timely progress.
- Gather feedback from completed projects and analyse sales metrics for continuous improvement.
- Provide regular sales forecasts to management to inform decision-making.
- Utilise and enhance the CRM system to capture and manage market and sales information effectively.
- Maintaining awareness of orders through to delivery and post sales follow-up.
- Collaborate with the Proposals Engineer and Engineering team to establish realistic profit margins and sales values.
