Minimum Requirements: Employee Benefits experience ideal but not essential; Suitable for ambitious graduates with a 2.1 degree or higher; Excellent communication skills; Hungry and ambitious to succeed

Salary/package: £28,000 + bonus + 27 days' annual leave + pension (5%, 5%) + healthcare + various other benefits.

YOUR NEW COMPANY

Our client is a Top 10 Chartered Financial Planner & Employee Benefits firm, based near Redhill, Surrey. This award-winning business has a new requirement for a Trainee Employee Benefit Consultant to join it's expanding Employee Benefits team. The role's been created due to a large increase in business.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Sales & Operations Director, the Trainee Employee Benefit Consultant's main purpose is to work alongside the Employee Benefit Consultants in managing new business opportunities regarding pension, group protection, healthcare and wellbeing employee benefit schemes. The Trainee Employee Benefit Consultant's key duties will include:

  • Technical, Market and Product Research
  • Preparation of quote specifications for new and existing benefit schemes
  • The negotiation of competitive terms with providers on new and existing benefit schemes
  • Preparation of renewal recommendation reports for group protection, healthcare and wellbeing employee benefit schemes
  • Preparation of recommendation reports for new clients and/or new employee benefit schemes
  • Issue of reports for pension scheme members
  • Preparation of annual governance reports for an employers workplace pension scheme

REQUIREMENTS
