Role : Site Supervisor - Waste Processing Operations

Are you ready to take the lead in driving efficiency and excellence in waste processing? We're seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, reporting directly to the Site Manager. This hands-on role demands a background in waste operations and a solid grasp of aggregates and recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and optimize wash plant, crushers, and screeners to ensure smooth functioning.

Maintain quality control by ensuring materials meet specified standards.

Coordinate with testing agencies to execute weekly sampling plans effectively.

Supervise staff to ensure efficient loading and removal of recycled aggregates and waste.

Schedule and oversee maintenance of earthmoving and processing equipment.

Maintain adequate stock levels of loose aggregates and other products.

Ensure cleanliness and proper signage, promptly addressing any identified defects.

Conduct monthly stock checks and report findings promptly.

Uphold safety standards for yourself and your team, ensuring compliance with site rules and regulations.

Conduct pre-start checks on all machinery, addressing any defects promptly.

Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and contractual obligations.

Timely completion of all documentation and preparation of key reports for Directors.

Manage and supervise staff, including handling holidays and absences.

Address staff contraventions of company procedures effectively.

Efficiently operate plant and machinery to meet daily targets.

Manage reporting and resolution of damage to machinery, vehicles, or sites.

Plan logistics for efficient vehicular movements on and off-site.

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity on roles and tasks.

Provide feedback on plant and operations performance, identifying and implementing solutions as needed.

Inspect imported materials for compliance with waste acceptance criteria.
