Sonic Summary

The job involves fabricating large steel structures for the shipbuilding and ship repair industry.
Candidates must have experience in TIG & MMA welding and in marine, oil & gas, or offshore environments.
An ability to work from drawings and specifications is required, and existing Lloyd's Register codings will allow for an immediate start, while others will need to pass an in-house weld test.
The position offers 50 hours of work per week at a pay rate of £25 per hour PAYE plus £3.02 per hour holiday pay, or £33.48 per hour through an umbrella company.
The current contract lasts until late October 2025, with a strong chance of extension, and applicants must possess their own air-fed welding mask.

You will be working on the fabrication of large steel structures for the shipbuilding and ship repair industry.

Requirements:

TIG & MMA welding to a high standard
Experience in marine/oil & gas/offshore environments
Ability to work from drawings and specifications
If already coded with private Lloyd's Register codings you will be able to have an immediate start, If not, an in-house weld test will be required before starting

Details:

Hours: 50 per week
Mon- Thurs 8 hours, Tues - Thurs: 12 hours Fri- 6 hours
25/h PAYE Plus 3.02/h holiday pay (can be accrued or advanced) or 33.48/h Umbrella co

Must have own Airfed welding mask
