Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting a Facilities Maintenance Technician (Electrical) on behalf of their client.

The following accountabilities and roles apply to both our client's sites ensuring consistency across both sites acting as Facilities Maintenance Technician (Electrical).

* Maximising the existing facilities and infrastructure whilst maintaining strict safety standards. To carry out maintenance, adaptation and installation of Airfield Ground Lighting systems and all associated equipment on the airfield and adjacent land.
* To ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safety requirements.
* To carry out preventative maintenance and reactive tasks as scheduled.
* To document all allocated maintenance and reactive work.
* To undertake training for new technology or systems and mandatory training for business requirements.
* To provide escort for contractors and visitors working airside as required.
* To work alongside an established team of technical engineers to deliver best working practices and contribute to passenger throughflow.
* Work well with all departments, co-operating and co-ordinating works to ensure that all equipment is optimised and running efficiently.

These duties are not exhaustive, and the Company may require you, from time to time and in exceptional circumstances, to carry out further ad hoc duties within your capability and capacity.
