Job Title: ChefPay: £16 per hourOngoing positionHours: Flexible 9/10 hour shifts (Early 4:45am / Late till 8pm)
Location - Catterick Garrison
Main Duties include:
- Prepare and serve food to the required quality standard.
- Follow recipe formats to help control waste.
- Ensure portion control.
- Apply "Food Safe" & Hygienic working practices.
- Work in support of all team members.
Qualifications and Key Skills:
- Good knowledge of food and ingredients.
- Good trade skills, preparation and production of good quality food.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Communication skills.
- Team player.
- Minimum 3 years on the job experience
The advantages of this role over other hospitality roles are:
- Less stressed working environment than standard hospitality kitchens.
- Shift work however has less late nights, all days and early mornings.
- Need to work 5 from 7 days, and be prepared to work occasional overtime.
- Don't need to be culinary genius, just someone who can produce quality food
