Main Duties include:

  • Prepare and serve food to the required quality standard.
  • Follow recipe formats to help control waste.
  • Ensure portion control.
  • Apply "Food Safe" & Hygienic working practices.
  • Work in support of all team members.

Qualifications and Key Skills:

  • Good knowledge of food and ingredients.
  • Good trade skills, preparation and production of good quality food.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Minimum 3 years on the job experience

The advantages of this role over other hospitality roles are:

  • Less stressed working environment than standard hospitality kitchens.
  • Shift work however has less late nights, all days and early mornings.
  • Need to work 5 from 7 days, and be prepared to work occasional overtime.
  • Don't need to be culinary genius, just someone who can produce quality food
