Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Assistant
We are working with a independent children’s day nursery who are currently looking for a full and part-time Nursery Nurse Practitioner for their nursery setting in Richmond Upon Thames.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a level 2/3, NVQ, CACHE or recognised equivalent childcare qualification, you will also ideally have a minimum of 6 months setting experience, being able to demonstrate a sound understanding of both the EYFS framework and key worker practices.
Position Details
Your role will include:
- Promoting a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment to support and extend children’s learning and development outcomes
- Organising and overseeing the planning, implementation and provision of activities
- Monitoring, assessing and recording children’s progress
- Completing observations and planning appropriate next steps to support children’s development
You will ideally have:
- A level 2 or level 3 CACHE or recognised equivalent NurseryNurse / EarlyYearsPractitioner qualification or for unqualified NurseryAssistants a minimum of 12 months Early Years nursery setting experience
- An understanding of the latest EYFS framework and regulations
- An understanding of observations and developmental reports procedures
- A sound understanding of safeguarding practices
