Are you looking for a vibrant and dynamic workplace where you can showcase your organisational skills? We have a fantastic opportunity for an Office Manager to join our client's team in the construction industry. If you are a meticulous and proactive individual, this role could be perfect for you!

As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and acting as the first point of contact for clients. You will be responsible for answering telephone calls and assisting with any client queries, providing exceptional customer service at all times.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administration support with submissions and fee proposals
  • Assisting with HR admin, including holiday management, recruitment, and onboarding processes
  • Managing company vehicles, including MOT and service arrangements
  • Assisting the QS (Quantity Surveyor) with tenders, quotes, and other related tasks
  • Booking venues, meetings, and events to enhance the team's productivity
  • Processing purchase orders and invoices accurately and efficiently

To excel in this role, you will need previous experience within a fast-paced construction environment. You should be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Our client's office opening hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4.30 pm. As part of their team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside passionate professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction office administration or management role (essential)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
