Our client, a market leader with a wealth of experience in Precision Engineering, are currently looking for a CNC Machinist to join their highly valued team on a full-time basis.

This Company are continuing to grow at an impressive rate due to their excellent reputation and trusted expertise in their field. They offer a number of products and services across their many divisions and are currently looking for someone who shares their passion and drive for the Industry.

You will be working with multiple clients across different sectors. These include Aerospace, Marine, Oil & Gas, and Defence.

CNC Machinist - Roles & Responsibilities

  • Machining a variety of high-quality parts using materials such as: Aluminium, Steel, and Titanium.
  • Set, Operate and Programme machines when required.
  • Utilise measuring equipment for continuous quality checks, ensuring products are right first time.
  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks on equipment.
  • Deburring produced parts.
  • Work accurately from complex engineering drawings.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy workspace in line with H&S protocols.

CNC Machinist - Skills & Experience

  • Hands on experience in a precision machining role - Apprenticeship/NVQ (Desirable)
  • Able to work off own initiative and as part of a team
  • Experience using various systems (Heidenhain, Fanuc, Siemens)
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances, using a range of materials.
  • Accurately working from complex engineering drawings
