Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Group Marketing Director for a well-established company based near Ripon, North Yorkshire.

The Role

As the Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate the company brand presence, drive consumer engagement, and support the company expansion goals. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a talented marketing team and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve key business objectives.

Duties

Strategic Planning and Execution:

-          Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth targets.

-          Identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscapes to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.

-          Drive brand positioning, messaging, and differentiation strategies to enhance market penetration and brand loyalty.

Brand Management and Development:

-          Oversee brand development initiatives, ensuring consistency, authenticity, and relevance across all touchpoints.

-          Manage brand assets, including visual identity, packaging design, and brand guidelines.

-          Cultivate brand partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to amplify brand reach and visibility.

Product Marketing and Innovation:

-          Lead product marketing efforts, including new product launches, packaging innovations, and product lifecycle management.

-          Collaborate with R&D and brewing teams to identify market opportunities and develop compelling product offerings that resonate with target consumers.

-          Conduct market research and consumer testing to validate product concepts and inform product development decisions.

Digital Marketing and E-Commerce:

-          Drive digital marketing strategies across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and content marketing.

-          Optimize digital channels to enhance brand awareness, customer acquisition, and e-commerce sales.

-          Leverage data analytics and performance metrics to track ROI, optimize campaigns, and drive continuous improvement.

Integrated Marketing Communications:

-          Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including traditional advertising, PR, events, and experiential marketing.

-          Collaborate with creative agencies, media partners, and influencers to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with target audiences.

-          Monitor campaign performance, conduct post-campaign analysis, and extract actionable insights for future campaigns.

Team Leadership and Development:

-          Provide visionary leadership to the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.

-          Set clear goals and performance expectations, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to drive individual and team excellence.

-          Identify talent gaps, recruit top marketing talent, and invest in employee development to build a high-performing marketing organization.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

-          Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.

-          Proven track record of success in marketing leadership roles within the FMCG Industry

-          Deep understanding of marketing principles, consumer behaviour, and brand management strategies.

-          Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen.

-          Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

-          Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

-          Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and e-commerce platforms.
