Our client a privately owned engineering company who work mainly with the petrochemical and food industry are keen to train and develop a new recruit they are ideally seeking somebody who already has basic engineering knowledge which may have been gained in previous employment or through education:
As the Trainee Fabricator/Welder your duties will be;
- You will learn to work from technical drawings/specification sheets.
- TIG Welding - You will learn to weld to a high standard.
- You will be involved in all areas of production and Welding.
As the Trainee Fabricator/Welder you will have the following skills/experience;
- A background in some form of basic mechanical engineering would be beneficial.
- Any exposure to fabrication would be advantageous.
- Previous use of tools and working in a hands-on role
- An interest in learning about production and welding processes from start to finish.
